7/16"-14 Grade 5 Finished Hex Nuts, Coarse Thread, Steel, Zinc Plated

Hex nuts, also referred to as finished nuts, are the most versatile and widely used nut design. Grade 5 nuts are made from steel with a maximum carbon content of 0.55%, a minumum manganese of 0.30% and a maximum sulfur content of 0.15%. Grade 5 finished hex nuts are used with bolts with a minimum tensile strength equal to or less than the specified proof stress of the nut.
