How long will my UPS Ground order take in transit?
How much will my shipping cost?
During the checkout process, our website will offer you shipping options that are calculated in real time by UPS.
UPS Ground typically provides the most economical shipping option.
FREE Shipping on orders over $1,249 only applies to orders from the 48 contiguous states.
Please note that if your freight at checkout is listed as TBD (To be determined) a customer service rep will reach out with freight costs and options after your order is placed.
At our discretion orders weighing over 250 pounds may be shipped via LTL carrier and applicable freight charges may apply.
Using Tanner Local Van Delivery?
Tanner local van delivery is available for orders over $250 to the Five Boroughs of NY including Suffolk & Nassau Counties.
Note: For partial shipments, the total freight charge is billed on the initial shipment
Tanner has your back on UPS Ground Shipping!
If you are in the 48 contiguous states (USA), we won't charge you more than $89 on UPS Ground. If you see an $89 shipping fee, Tanner picked up the rest of the tab for you as a courtesy.
Do you ship Internationally?
Tanner Bolt & Nut Corp. ships internationally to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii & U.S. Territories. Please note that additional surcharges may apply.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Tanner currently collects sales tax for AL, AZ, CA, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WV. Additional states will be added so we recommend sending your Sales Exempt Certificate to websales@tannerbolt.com
If you are tax exempt, please reply to your order confirmation with your tax certificate and your order will be adjusted accordingly.
You may also send in your tax certificate to websales@tannerbolt.com
We encourage you to send tax exempt certificates outside the above-mentioned states.
Will my order ship out today?
Complete in-stock orders that are placed by 2:30 pm will ship out the same day. Orders are considered "complete" if all products in the order are in-stock.
Products online that have an Availability of "available for order, usually ships within 3-5 business days", may not be able to ship out the same day (See Nationwide Distribution Centers below!). We do offer a drop-shipping service that allows most of the products to ship the same day. To be sure about stock & shipping, please use the chat app or call for clarification.
Can I get my product faster?
Yes. Tanner partners with its largest suppliers to utilize Nationwide Distribution Centers.
Our goal is to ship orders complete, in-stock orders from our main warehouse in Brooklyn, NY but we want our customers to know there are options.
Tanner strategically utilizes its network of suppliers to help bring products to you faster where circumstances permit.
Utilizing this network, Tanner can often get your order to you faster!
In some cases, products referencing a 3 to 5-day turnaround can ship just as fast as in-stock orders.
Are there other additional fees I should be aware of?
Please note that additional carrier fees, such as Limited Access is the responsible of the recipient and we will automatically bill the card used for the order. Any overages like this are the responsibility of the receiver unless it is our error.
Limited access is defined as meeting any of the following conditions: Not open to the walk-in public during normal business hours. Not having personnel readily available to assist with the delivery or pickup function. Not having access to loading dock or platform. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Schools/University
- Churches
- Military bases/locations
- Storefronts/ Strip malls / Malls
- Construction Sites
- Self Storage facilities
- Hotels
- Country Clubs
- Hospitals
- Farms
- Funeral Homes/Cemeteries
