UltraCon® Masonry Fasteners Technical Specification Data
High Performance Concrete Screws in a Wide Range of Applications
The UltraCon masonry fastening system from Elco Construction Products offers optimal performance in a wide range of masonry applications. Cold formed fasteners, precision‑cut Elco carbide drill bits and high‑quality installation tools all work together to provide excellent pull-out and shear values. All components of the system are manufactured to strict quality standards to ensure consistent, trouble-free installation and in-place performance.
UltraCon fasteners are the optimal solution for concrete, brick or hollow block to attach electrical boxes and clips; wood headers, plywood, or furring strips; exterior insulation systems and more.
Increased Size for Increased Strength
The new 5/16" diameter UltraCon fastener provides increased shear and tensile strength to meet the needs of more demanding applications
Superior Resistance to Corrosion
UltraCon fasteners from Elco Construction Products are coated with Stalgard finish to provide superior corrosion resistance. Fasteners coated with Stalgard® finish typically show no red rust or other base metal corrosion on significant surfaces even after 800 hours of 5% neutral salt spray exposure (ASTM B117).
Experience Matters
Elco Construction Products has been manufacturing fastening systems for concrete in the U.S.A. since 1980. Unlike competing masonry fasteners, only UltraCon fasteners are coated with Stalgard finish. To assure quality on your next masonry application, choose the UltraCon masonry fastening system manufactured by the company known for quality – Elco Construction Products.
5/16" Diameter UltraCon® Fasteners for Heavy-Duty Applications
Now the proven performance of the UltraCon® masonry fastening system is available in a new 5/16" diameter anchor. This larger size provides increased shear and tensile strength to meet the needs of more demanding applications in poured concrete, block, and brick, including: metal door framing, window frames, shelving and racking, cable trays, shutter systems & pipe supports.
Installation is fast and easy with Elco® masonry bits and 516 drive sleeve (ELP400) installation tools. When all three elements of the fastening system are used, consistent performance and maximum pull-out strengths can be realized.
UltraCon fasteners from Elco Construction Products are coated with silver Stalgard® finish to provide superior corrosion resistance.
Don't rely on standard-sized fasteners in nonstandard masonry fastening applications. Choose the fastener designed for the job – the new 5/16" UltraCon® fastener from Elco Construction Products.
